Senior Tax Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing tax strategy and accounting firm. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in client-facing work, enjoys navigating complex tax situations, and is looking to grow within a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual and business tax returns, including Form 1040 (individual), Form 1120-S (S-corporations), and Form 1065 (partnerships)
Support tax planning and strategy development for a diverse client base
Analyze and review financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide timely updates
Maintain current knowledge of evolving federal and state tax laws and regulations

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of tax accounting experience
Demonstrated experience with 1040, 1120-S, and 1065 filings
Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Outstanding client-service and communication skills
