A globally recognized law firm is seeking a senior-level insurance coverage attorney with extensive experience handling complex coverage disputes. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, independent attorney who thrives in a leadership capacity and has deep experience advising insurers on sophisticated litigation matters, including bad faith and business interruption claims. Candidates must be admitted in Texas.

Senior Attorney Responsibilities:

Analyze first- and third-party insurance policies and provide strategic coverage advice to insurer clients
Lead and support litigation in federal and state courts, including declaratory judgment actions and policyholder disputes
Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and mediation statements
Manage communications with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and courts
Oversee discovery processes, including drafting requests, managing productions, and reviewing large document sets
Conduct and defend depositions, participate in hearings and mediations, and manage expert involvement

Senior Attorney Requirements:

Admission to the Texas bar with 10+ years of relevant insurance coverage experience
Strong background in insurance coverage litigation (bad faith and business interruption experience preferred)
Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
Proven ability to independently manage cases and take on leadership responsibilities
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel as needed
