Director of Housekeeping
Luxury Boutique Resort | On-Site
We are seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead daily operations and uphold exceptional cleanliness and service standards at a luxury boutique resort. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and leads by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and elevate luxury housekeeping standards across guest rooms and public areas
- Personally oversee VIP room preparations, special amenities, and guest requests
- Lead daily operations including staffing, room assignments, inspections, laundry, and room status coordination
- Resolve guest concerns professionally while building relationships with repeat and VIP guests
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop housekeeping leaders and team members
- Manage labor, inventory, budgets, and productivity metrics
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and guest privacy policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of housekeeping leadership experience in an upscale or luxury hotel
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Passion for luxury hospitality and team development
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000–$95,000 annually
- 10% annual bonus potential based on performance
