Embedded Flexible Spine APP Responsibilities

• Work directly with spine surgeons in clinic
• Conduct new-patient and follow-up evaluations
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and order/interpret appropriate imaging
• Develop treatment plans under the physician/team's scope and protocols
• Perform pre-op and post-op evaluations
• Manage inpatient spine patients (when needed)

Embedded Flexible Spine APP Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Arizona PA license (or in process) and NCCPA certification
• Bachelor's Degree, related field such as biology, chemistry or health sciences
• Spine/Orthopedic experience preferred
• 2+ years prior experience in pain management, orthopedics or neurosurgery
• BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred
• CME to maintain license
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Practice in accordance with the state’s laws, rules and regulations.
