ER Specialist Benefits & Compensation

  • Competitive base salary

ER Specialist Requirements & Qualifications

  • Multi-state employee relations experience strongly preferred; expertise with California and West Coast regions is a plus
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases (approx. 100 investigations/cases per year)
  • Stable employment history (ideally 2–3 jobs in the past 5 years)
  • Comfortable with a daily commute to Seattle office (30 minutes or less)
  • Strong documentation, interviewing, and advisory skills
  • Collaborative and high-touch working style

ER Specialist Preferred Background & Skills

  • Bilingual ability is a bonus
  • Experience advising managers in hospitality, retail, healthcare, insurance, or tech environments
  • Familiarity with multi-site operations or large, distributed teams

ER Specialist Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive workplace investigations from intake through resolution for field teams (retail, restaurant, distribution)
  • Interview employees, document findings, and recommend next steps in ER cases
  • Guide and advise managers regarding disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, and performance management
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure fair outcomes and adherence to best practices
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee and manager concerns within assigned geographies
