Restaurant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-end, fine dining environment
- Proven success managing annual sales volumes of $10M and above
- Expertise in wine and premium liquor
- Outstanding guest service skills paired with strong financial acumen
- Demonstrated leadership presence with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Restaurant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and inspire front- and back-of-house teams to deliver exceptional service
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring a flawless guest experience
- Maintain high menu and beverage standards, including fine wine and premium spirits selection
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Cultivate a culture of professionalism, pride, and superior hospitality throughout the restaurant
