Construction Assistant Project Manager – Walnut Creek

Our construction client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to oversee their commerical and tenent improvement projects in the Walnut Creek area. 

Construction Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Designing, Planning, directing and coordination of construction activities to complete a successful project.  
• Maintain the project documentation and communicate with clients, architects, city officials, subcontractors, and vendors during the course of the project to ensure the project is built per plans and specification and within the defined schedule and budget.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Maintaining Procore system, processes, and controls, including submittals, RFI’s, scheduling, change orders and contract management.
• Performing budget management, RFP’s ASI’s drawings distributions and maintaining general knowledge of all scopes work.
• Reviewing financial forecasts to ensure timely completion of projects on schedule and budget. 

Construction Assistant Project Manager Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field prefered
• 2+ years of construction Assistant Project Manager experience. Candidates with Project Manager experience will not be considered.
• Ground up commerical and tenent improvement project experience required
• Proficiency in Procore, Onscreen Take off, Microsoft Project, and Sage 100.
