Reservations Manager

Luxury Resort | Hawaiian Islands

$90,000 Base Salary + Full Benefits + Relocation Assistance

An exceptional luxury resort in the Hawaiian Islands is seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to lead a team of approximately 14 reservations professionals and play an important role in delivering an extraordinary guest experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional ready for the next step in their career. The Reservations Manager will oversee daily reservations operations while partnering closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Front Office, and resort leadership.

More than managing reservations, this role requires a leader who understands that the guest experience begins well before arrival—someone who can inspire a team to personalize interactions, anticipate guest needs, and create memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a reservations team of approximately 14 professionals, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional service.
  • Manage daily Reservations Department operations, including scheduling, workflow, service standards, call management, and guest issue resolution.
  • Ensure a highly personalized reservations experience while identifying opportunities to enhance each guest's stay.
  • Serve as a hands-on operational resource for reservations agents, assisting with complex guest requests and escalations.
  • Manage the Property Management System (PMS) and maintain accurate reservations, rates, inventory, and guest information.
  • Monitor room and rate availability to maximize occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue.
  • Partner with the Director of Revenue on forecasting, budgeting, yield strategies, rate discussions, and revenue optimization.
  • Analyze occupancy and reservations reports, identify trends, and recommend strategies to improve performance.
  • Coordinate group inventory and allocations with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and resort leadership.
  • Support rate strategies, segment controls, upselling initiatives, and reservations incentive programs.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, recognition, and annual reviews while supporting professional development.
  • Participate in revenue, forecasting, departmental, pre-convention, and resort leadership meetings.
  • Build strong relationships across departments and support broader resort initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate combines luxury hospitality instincts with strong reservations and revenue-management knowledge and is equally comfortable developing people, engaging with discerning guests, and analyzing business performance.

  • Previous leadership experience in hotel or resort reservations, preferably within luxury or upscale hospitality.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of PMS and reservations systems, room inventory, rates, forecasting, and yield management.
  • Understanding of occupancy, ADR, segmentation, inventory controls, and demand patterns.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine passion for personalized guest experiences and luxury service.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

Compensation & Benefits

$90,000 base salary + full benefits + relocation assistance to the Hawaiian Islands.

This opportunity also offers meaningful long-term career growth within a sophisticated luxury hospitality environment, with exposure to revenue strategy, resort operations, guest experience, and senior leadership.

For an ambitious reservations professional, this is an opportunity to relocate to an extraordinary island destination, lead a substantial team, expand their commercial expertise, and build the next chapter of their luxury hospitality career.
