Assistant General Manager
High-Volume Fine Dining Restaurant | Boston, MA
$80,000–$85,000 + Benefits | Parking Included
A high-volume, fine dining restaurant in Boston is seeking an experienced and polished Assistant General Manager to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing strong teams, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations
- Lead, coach, and develop the front-of-house team
- Maintain exceptional standards of service and hospitality
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Assist with scheduling, training, and performance management
- Monitor labor, costs, and other key operational metrics
- Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure prompt resolution
- Collaborate with the culinary team to provide a seamless dining experience
- Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and company standards
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of restaurant management experience
- Fine dining or upscale, high-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, and cost controls
- A hands-on leadership style and strong floor presence
- Ability to remain composed and effective in a demanding environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Compensation and Benefits
