An established boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Managing Attorney to join its team and play a key role in the future of the practice. This position offers the opportunity to take on increasing leadership, client, and operational responsibility as part of a long-term succession plan.

Responsibilities:

• Manage sophisticated estate planning, tax, business, asset protection, and succession planning matters.
• Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and closely held companies.
• Draft and review trusts, estate planning documents, business agreements, entity structures, and related legal documents.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and collaborate with CPAs, financial advisors, and other professionals.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• Oversee workflow, client service, and quality of legal work.
• Work closely with firm ownership to learn the firm's operations, client relationships, and business processes.
• Gradually assume greater responsibility for firm leadership, strategy, and day-to-day management.
• Support business development and growth initiatives.
• Help execute a thoughtful long-term succession plan for the practice.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law.
• Strong experience in estate planning, tax law, business planning, asset protection, trusts and estates, or business succession.
• Experience working with high-net-worth clients, business owners, or closely held businesses preferred.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Leadership or management experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business judgment.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Interest in taking on increasing leadership responsibility within an established practice.
