Location: New York, NY (On-site)

About the Opportunity

A growing SaaS organization is seeking an experienced Client Onboarding Specialist to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for new customers and ensure successful implementation of the company's software platform. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple projects, and guiding clients through every stage of the implementation process.

The Client Onboarding Specialist will play a key role in leading new customer implementations, coordinating system setup, delivering product training, and partnering with internal teams to ensure clients are positioned for long-term success.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients from contract signature through successful implementation.
  • Lead client kickoff meetings to establish project timelines, goals, and implementation plans.
  • Configure customer accounts and coordinate system setup, data imports, and software integrations.
  • Deliver virtual onboarding sessions and product training to ensure successful user adoption.
  • Educate customers on platform functionality, best practices, and workflow optimization.
  • Manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Monitor implementation progress, proactively identify potential roadblocks, and communicate updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Support, and Operations teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Troubleshoot onboarding issues and coordinate with technical teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate client records and implementation documentation within CRM and project management systems.
  • Gather customer feedback and recommend process improvements to enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Assist with additional customer success and implementation initiatives as the organization continues to grow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in SaaS onboarding, implementation, customer success, account management, or project coordination.
  • Experience managing multiple client implementations simultaneously.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users with confidence and professionalism.
  • Strong customer service mindset with exceptional relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Jira, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with software implementations, data migration, APIs, or systems integrations is a plus.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
