A growing hospitality organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close process, assisting with audits, and ensuring timely processing of financial transactions.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field/experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting and business systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Background and Skills

• Hospitality industry experience preferred
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with audit preparation and tax-related reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, record financial transactions, and perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close activities and preparation of financial statements
• Support accounts receivable collections and cash application processes
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audits, tax filings, and financial reporting
• Research account variances and provide analysis to support management decision-making
• Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed
