Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing / Extrusion

Jackson, WI | 1st Shift | Overtime Available

We are a privately owned manufacturing company specializing in aluminum extrusion, metal stamping, and custom fabrication. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production operations and help keep our equipment running efficiently.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Overtime available

Compensation

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Typical range: $25.00 – $32.00+ per hour
  • Additional compensation may be considered for highly qualified candidates

What You'll Do

  • Repair and maintain production equipment and plant machinery
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
  • Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
  • Work closely with production personnel to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Experience with extrusion equipment strongly preferred
  • PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics experience highly preferred
  • Ability to work with industrial electrical systems, including 480V equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical certification, trade school training, or Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
