Commercial Credit Operations Manager

Pittsburgh Area | Multi-Location Leadership Opportunity

We're partnering with a growing industrial and transportation-focused organization seeking a Commercial Credit Operations Manager to lead a team of professionals responsible for commercial credit, accounts receivable, collections, customer risk management, and cash flow performance.

This is a highly visible leadership role with direct impact on business operations, customer relationships, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will bring experience managing commercial credit decisions, improving receivables performance, developing teams, and partnering with operational leaders across a multi-location organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7 credit and accounts receivable professionals

• Review customer financial information and establish appropriate credit limits

• Manage commercial credit risk and customer account exposure

• Monitor accounts receivable aging, collection effectiveness, and portfolio performance

• Drive initiatives that improve DSO and overall cash flow

• Partner with operations, service, sales, and finance teams to resolve customer issues

• Negotiate payment arrangements and manage escalated collection matters

• Develop and monitor KPIs related to credit, collections, and receivables performance

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

• Provide portfolio analysis, reporting, and recommendations to leadership

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial credit, accounts receivable, collections, or credit operations experience

• Experience leading and developing teams

• Commercial credit decision-making experience

• Strong understanding of DSO, aging, collections, and cash flow management

• Experience reviewing financial statements and assessing customer risk

• ERP and reporting system experience

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
