CNC Lathe Setup Machinist Benefits & Compensation
- Pay rate is $35-$41/hour commensurate with experience

CNC Lathe Setup Machinist Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of CNC lathe setup and machining experience
- Ability to set up and operate 2 and 3 axis CNC horizontal lathes
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls
- Competence in reading blueprints and working knowledge of GD&T
- Experience using various measuring instruments and gauges for production and first-piece inspection
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and precision
- Capable of thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
CNC Lathe Setup Machinist Preferred Background & Skills
- Working knowledge of G-code programming
- Experience with bar feeding systems a plus
CNC Lathe Setup Machinist Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC horizontal lathes to manufacture precision components
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure high-quality output
- Inspect completed parts with gauges and measuring tools to verify compliance with all dimensions and tolerances
- Support workflow efficiency and contribute to process improvements
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership on production status and issues
