Private Dining Sales Director – Chicago, IL
A respected private hospitality company is seeking a dynamic sales leader to help expand its luxury private dining experiences across Chicago. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, Michelin-trained team delivering personalized, fine-dining events at the highest level. You’ll take ownership of an established pipeline and play a key role as the first impression for discerning clients—impacting how the brand grows both locally and nationally.
Private Dining Sales Director Benefits & Compensation
- On-target earnings of $140-000-150,000 in year one (base around $85,000 + uncapped commission)
- Full-time position with health insurance and paid time off (PTO accrues after 90 days)
- Additional performance bonuses for hitting 90-day milestones, client reactivations, and referral partnerships (up to $5,000 in first quarter)

Private Dining Sales Director Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven track record of upselling, converting leads, or generating revenue with quantifiable sales achievements
- Comfortable and confident building relationships with C-suite executives and high-net-worth individuals
- Strong interest in fine dining and the ability to distinguish nuanced hospitality experiences
- Self-motivated, strategic, and able to work with autonomy
- Highly polished, with professional presence and strong communication skills
Private Dining Sales Director Preferred Background & Skills
- Existing network among luxury residential buildings, corporate clients, or event planners in Chicago is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems (such as Monday.com)
- Experience managing multi-stage sales cycles (both short-term and long-term)
Private Dining Sales Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build and manage a pipeline of luxury residential, corporate, and individual clients across Chicago
- Cultivate and reactivate dormant client relationships to generate recurring business
- Own all outreach and follow-up, including phone, email, social media, and in-person meetings
- Attend industry networking events to expand the company’s profile within the luxury market
- Maintain regular contact with a large network of prospects through an automated email system
- Collaborate with chef-owners on strategic initiatives, tastings, and VIP experiences
- Track all activity in company CRM and meet defined weekly and monthly metrics
