Floor Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage front-of-house service to ensure smooth, polished, and memorable guest experiences
- Set the floor before service, including station assignments, dining room readiness, reservations flow, and service standards
- Supervise servers, back servers, runners, and support staff while providing coaching, leadership, and real-time direction throughout service
- Open or close the restaurant as scheduled, ensuring all operational procedures and service standards are executed properly
- Oversee shift reports, documenting service notes, guest feedback, staffing updates, and operational observations
- Partner with kitchen and bar leadership to maintain seamless communication, proper pacing, and elevated service execution
- Maintain a strong floor presence, proactively addressing guest needs and supporting the team during high-volume service
Floor Manager Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience as a Floor Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments
- Strong understanding of elevated service standards, hospitality, and guest engagement
- Experience leading and developing servers, back servers, and support staff in a high-volume setting
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused during busy service periods
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Wine and beverage knowledge is highly preferred
- Passion for Mediterranean cuisine, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences
