Retail Visual Merchandising Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications

Ability to lead, guide, and supervise staff
Strong communication skills with staff, management, and guests
Visual merchandising experience with a track record of generating sales
Able to stand for extended periods and lift or move items 25 pounds or more
Willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions

Retail Visual Merchandising Supervisor Preferred Background & Skills

Previous experience in high-traffic retail operations is a plus
Outgoing, approachable, and attentive demeanor

Retail Visual Merchandising Supervisor Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Assign staff daily positions and set work schedules
Provide guidance and supervision to ensure high performance and attendance
Deliver friendly, superior guest service and assist with purchases
Enforce organizational rules, regulations, and policies consistently
Communicate effectively with management and teammates, including using two-way radios
Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming zones for visitors and staff
Execute visual merchandising strategies to increase sales and engage guests
Answer guest questions regarding the facility, amenities, and retail offerings
Perform opening and closing procedures, including daily lock-up
