Kitchen Manager Benefits and Compensation:

• $65,000–$70,000 base salary

Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of kitchen management experience
• Background in upscale casual dining or steakhouse concepts
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop BOH teams
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards
• Experience managing food costs, labor, and inventory controls
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Must Haves

• Lead daily kitchen operations with a hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder leadership style
• Ensure consistent execution of menu items and uphold quality standards during peak service
• Manage ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships to maintain cost targets
• Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff while maintaining accountability and morale
• Monitor prep, line readiness, and service flow to ensure smooth execution
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards

Kitchen Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in high-volume, scratch kitchens
• Strong tenure showing growth within reputable brands
• Exposure to steakhouse or elevated grill concepts
• Passion for team development and creating a positive kitchen culture
• Ability to adapt quickly and remain calm under pressure
• Experience with scheduling systems and kitchen management tools
