A well-established consumer goods organization is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a dynamic team of independent Sales Contractors. Sales Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing and supervising sales teams or contractors
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to handle hiring, onboarding, and compliance-related paperwork
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Sales Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in consumer goods sales, event management, or trade show operations
- Familiarity with inventory, logistics coordination, or wholesale account development
- Knowledge of current market trends and new product launches
Sales Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Hire, train, supervise, and provide ongoing support to Sales Contractors, ensuring compliance with all onboarding and operational procedures
- Oversee event execution, including staffing, display setup, and adherence to event rules
- Develop effective sales and marketing strategies for consumer goods, and guide contractors on successful pitch techniques
- Coordinate daily with the office, warehouse, marketing, and logistics teams to guarantee accurate inventory, smooth event operations, and vehicle upkeep
- Research and recommend new events, shows, and wholesale opportunities to expand the reach of the company
- Monitor paperwork, payroll, and expense submissions to ensure timely contractor compensation and internal reporting
- Serve as a liaison between contractors and upper management, providing updates and escalating issues as needed
