Hotel Complex General Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing teams through motivation, coaching, and development
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with computers and general office applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of guests, associates, and leadership
- High degree of reliability, attention to detail, and personal accountability
- Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
Hotel Complex General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest degree of quality guest service and quickly resolve guest complaints or issues
- Provide leadership, coaching, and clear direction to management and staff, promoting an inclusive and supportive culture
- Oversee daily operations, maintain compliance with all standards and governmental regulations, and uphold stringent safety and cleanliness protocols
- Manage financial performance, analyze profit and loss statements, control expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with departments, including sales, revenue management, and call center to optimize property performance
- Conduct regular property walks, celebrating successes and identifying areas for improvement through engagement with both guests and team members
