Kitchen Manager Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in kitchen leadership roles in full-service restaurants
- Strong tenure with no more than 2 job changes in the last 5 years
- Proven experience with ordering, inventory, scheduling, and department cost controls
- Culinary degree appreciated but not required
Kitchen Manager Responsibilities and Traits:
- Hands-on management style
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on the guest experience
- Mentor and coach team members
- Able to build relationships quickly and build strong teams
