An emerging, high-volume coastal restaurant is seeking a seasoned Executive Chef to direct all culinary operations and define the standard of excellence in the kitchen. This role calls for a leader who can establish structure, drive accountability, and execute at a high level while building a cohesive, performance-driven team. The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline with a deep understanding of seafood and the ability to consistently deliver a polished, high-quality product.

Executive Chef Requirements and Qualifications

5+ years of culinary leadership experience, including Executive Chef or comparable role
Demonstrated success overseeing high-volume kitchen operations with multiple service periods
Strong command of cost controls including labor, food cost, purchasing, and inventory management
Comprehensive understanding of food safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
Ability to lead with authority while remaining actively engaged in daily operations

Executive Chef Preferred Background and Skills

Experience in seafood-focused or coastal dining environments
Background in establishing kitchen structure, systems, and operational workflows
Track record of improving financial performance and operational efficiency
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations leadership to support overall business goals
