NYC based digital media company seeks a senior accountant that will report to the VP of Finance, who reports to CFO.

This is a key role in day-to-day functioning of the company.

Responsibilities:

Daily Cash Flow/Treasury Functions

Daily Cash Summary (used to record sweep activity at month end)

Cash Flow File Detail (includes weekly forecasting for all receipts/payments)

Treasury File Forecast (detailed and abbreviated document for biweekly treasury meetings)

Ad Receipt Forecast (used in conjunction with Treasury File Forecast)"

Run/review monthly bank statements

Review daily lockbox activity

Record all bank activity in QB

Month end close responsibilities.

Premium inventory accounting

Calendar quarter tax filing.

Year End

1099 planning

Qualifications:

CPA preferred

Quickbook and Excel experience preferred; company has proprietary systems as well

4-7 years of increasing responsibility in accounting roles

Cashflow focus

Must fit into strong corporate culture.

NYC based, hybrid (4 days in office).
