A regionally accredited university is seeking a Clinical Lab Instructor to support its Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program.

This full-time role focuses on guiding nursing students through skills labs and simulation-based learning while supporting clinical readiness and academic success. The instructor will work closely with faculty, clinical partners, and program leadership to ensure high-quality instruction and student engagement in a collaborative learning environment.

Clinical Lab Instructor – Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate student learning in skills labs, simulation environments, and online learning platforms
  • Provide guidance and mentorship related to clinical practice, professionalism, and nursing competencies
  • Support implementation of the nursing curriculum and academic program objectives
  • Collaborate with faculty and healthcare partners to ensure effective clinical preparation
  • Maintain current knowledge of nursing curriculum, policies, and clinical best practices
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to support academic progress

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing required
  • Active, unencumbered RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of professional nursing practice experience
  • Teaching experience in nursing education preferred
  • Experience with simulation labs or clinical instruction preferred
  • Comfort using learning management systems and instructional technology
