Director of Rooms

Our luxury resort is seeking an experienced Director of Rooms to join our senior leadership team. We foster a collaborative and supportive culture and are looking for a creative, forward-thinking leader to help shape and elevate our operations in a post-COVID hospitality landscape.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort
Demonstrated loyalty, strong team mindset, and a servant-leadership approach
Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Creative, solutions-oriented problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SMS Host (or similar property management systems)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all Rooms Division departments, ensuring seamless daily operations
Lead and mentor department heads through regular check-ins, coaching, and development
Evaluate, refine, and implement policies and standard operating procedures
Serve as a key liaison between guests (including VIPs) and hotel staff to ensure exceptional service delivery
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance initiatives
