An established restaurant group is seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee all aspects of IT for a growing, multi-location operation. This is a high-impact position for someone passionate about building, safeguarding, and scaling restaurant technology while collaborating cross-functionally and supporting new business expansion.

Director of Information Technology Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 7–10 years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibilities
- Experience supporting multi-location restaurant operations
- Deep familiarity with point-of-sale systems (must have Toast Enterprise), payment processing, networking, hardware, cloud applications, and telecommunications
- Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data-protection practices
- Experience with PCI DSS and payment card security requirements
- Strong background in technology vendor management, contract negotiation, and budgeting
- Eligibility for and maintenance of a SIDA badge to work in airport environments
- Willingness to travel up to 70% as required
Director of Information Technology Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience supporting new restaurant or retail location openings
- Excellent project management and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strategic planning abilities with a hands-on, service-oriented approach
- Experience managing IT staff, contractors, or managed-service providers
Director of Information Technology Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of IT strategy in alignment with business growth and operational needs
- Oversee all technology systems for restaurants and corporate, including POS, payment, networking, and cybersecurity
- Manage technology implementation for new openings, renovations, and acquisitions
- Ensure systems reliability, scalability, and compliance (PCI DSS, data privacy, etc.)
- Maintain robust cybersecurity controls and incident-response procedures
- Provide vendor and contract oversight, reviewing service agreements and performance
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, HR, and senior leadership on technology initiatives
- Supervise IT staff, consultants, and managed-service providers as needed
- Respond to on-call technical emergencies and provide hands-on support when critical
