Restaurant & Private Events General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations for a high-energy, upscale-casual restaurant and live entertainment venue. This role will oversee day-to-day restaurant operations while also driving the successful execution and growth of private events, celebrations, and special functions.

Restaurant & Private Events  Benefits

  • $5,000 per month based on achieving established sales goals and performance expectations
  • Two weeks of paid vacation annually
  • 40 hours of paid sick time annually

  • Opportunity to take a key leadership role in a high-volume restaurant, entertainment, and private events operation

Restaurant & Private Events Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or comparable senior-level hospitality leader, preferably in a high-volume, upscale-casual environment
  • Proven experience managing private events, large parties, celebrations, corporate functions, and/or catering, with strong attention to detail from planning through execution
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with sales growth, labor management, food and beverage costs, budgeting, and P&L performance
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and guest-service skills, with the ability to recruit, train, motivate, and develop both front- and back-of-house teams
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy restaurant and live entertainment environment, including nights, weekends, holidays, and fluctuating business volumes

Restaurant & Private Events Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistently high standards for food quality, beverage service, hospitality, cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience
  • Lead, coach, schedule, and develop the management and hourly teams while maintaining appropriate staffing levels and operational accountability
  • Oversee the private-event guest experience and planning through execution and coordination with the sales team, culinary, and service team to deliver seamless events
  • Drive revenue and profitability by maximizing restaurant sales, private-event business, beverage sales, and repeat clientele, while closely monitoring labor, food and beverage costs, and operating expenses
  • Serve as the primary on-site leader and brand ambassador, resolving guest concerns, maintaining strong community relationships, supporting live entertainment, and ensuring a consistently energetic and welcoming guest experience
