Floor Manager
Upscale Independent Restaurant – Houston, TX
Salary: 55,000 to 65,000
We are looking for a driven, hands-on Floor Manager who wants to grow their career in an upscale, high-volume environment. This role is ideal for an early-career leader who already has real skills on the floor and is ready to take the next step. You will run service, support the bar when needed, handle guest issues with confidence, and help uphold the standards that define our restaurant.
This is an independent concept. You will not have layers of management or corporate structure. You will be trusted, empowered, and expected to lead.
What You Will Do
- Lead the floor during service with strong presence and awareness
- Handle table calls, guest complaints, and conflict resolution
- Support bar operations when needed
- Uphold service standards and drive consistency
- Hold staff accountable to expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, high-energy dining room
- Assist with nightly operations and service flow
What You Bring
- Experience in upscale, steakhouse, fine dining, or high-volume restaurants
- Ability to manage guest issues with professionalism
- Confidence on the floor and comfort supporting the bar
- Strong communication and leadership instincts
- Accountability, reliability, and a desire to grow
- A hands-on, guest-focused approach to service
