NOW HIRING: SOUS CHEF – UPSCALE DINING OPERATION
Salary: $70,000–$75,000
Join a premier culinary team in a dynamic upscale dining environment.
We are partnering with an established hospitality group seeking a talented Sous Chef to join their culinary team in Minneapolis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary leader who enjoys working with high-quality ingredients, developing teams, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Banquet and event experience is preferred, but not required. We are open to strong restaurant culinary professionals who bring leadership, creativity, and a passion for hospitality.
What You’ll Lead
- Assist with daily kitchen operations and service execution
- Support the Executive Chef in maintaining food quality and consistency
- Help oversee banquet, event, and restaurant culinary execution
- Train, mentor, and develop culinary team members
- Manage food preparation, presentation, and kitchen standards
- Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and organization
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost controls
- Foster a positive and professional kitchen culture
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve operations
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of culinary leadership experience in restaurants, hotels, catering, or upscale food service environments
- Strong cooking skills with experience leading kitchen teams
- Banquet or event culinary experience preferred
- Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable dining experiences
- Ability to train, coach, and develop culinary talent
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with cost controls, inventory, and kitchen operations
- Hands-on leader with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
