A high-volume, polished restaurant is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to help lead back-of-house operations and deliver exceptional food quality in a fast-paced, scratch-kitchen environment. This role partners closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily execution, develop kitchen talent, and maintain the highest standards of food safety, consistency, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on culinary leader who thrives under pressure and enjoys coaching teams to success.
Sous Chef Compensation and Benefites

Sous Chef Requirements and Qualifications
- 2+ years of kitchen leadership experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food safety, inventory management, scheduling, and kitchen operations
- Experience leading and developing culinary teams while maintaining high execution standards
Sous Chef Preferred Background and Skills
- Scratch kitchen experience in upscale casual, steakhouse, or fine dining concepts
- Proven success controlling food cost, labor, and kitchen productivity
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and building strong BOH cultures
- Calm, organized leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
