Production Underwriter – Workers’ Compensation

Remote with Travel

A fast-growing specialty insurance group is seeking a Production Underwriter to drive middle-market Workers’ Comp business (avg. premium ~$500K).

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and price larger WC accounts.
• Build and maintain strong retail broker relationships (target ~100 qualified submissions/year).
• Represent the company as a decision-maker in a highly competitive market.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of WC underwriting (high-severity classes preferred).
• Established retail broker relationships in the Western Mid-Atlantic (Western PA, Maryland, DC. Virginia).
• Strong reputation, self-motivated, and relationship-driven.

Comp & Benefits:

• Base $140–$160K + 20% bonus.
