General Manager | Managing Partner Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a senior restaurant leadership role (General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, or similar)
- Proven success leading restaurants generating $5M+ in annual sales; $8M+ preferred
- Strong financial management, including budgeting, P&L, labor, food, beverage, and controllable costs
- Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high-performance teams
- Deep understanding of upscale dining, beverage programs, and guest relations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with restaurant technology platforms and operational reporting systems
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
General Manager | Managing Partner Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience opening new restaurants, leading turnarounds, or scaling high-growth concepts
- Strong background in fine dining, polished casual, or lifestyle-focused hospitality
- History of developing future leaders and building strong leadership pipelines
General Manager | Managing Partner Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse front- and back-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Oversee financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and P&L management
- Implement and uphold brand standards, operational procedures, and service excellence throughout the restaurant
- Maintain a hands-on presence on the floor, engaging team members and guests alike
- Drive continuous improvement across operations, guest satisfaction, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health codes, liquor laws, and corporate policies
- Foster a respectful, inclusive workplace culture grounded in accountability and professional growth
