Construction Office Manager / Bookkeeper

Join a growing construction and real estate development organization seeking an experienced Construction Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee accounting, financial administration, compliance, office operations, and employee administration. This is a full-time, on-site, highly visible, hands-on leadership role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate independently while supporting both construction operations and real estate development activities.

Construction Office Manager / Bookkeeper Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a construction office management, bookkeeping, or related role
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and construction accounting practices
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of job costing, progress billing, retainage, and vendor/subcontractor compliance
  • Experience supporting real estate development transactions, construction loans, lender draws, and closing documentation

Construction Office Manager / Bookkeeper Responsibilities/Duties

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting, AP/AR, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
  • Support job costing, project financial tracking, progress billing, and budget reporting
  • Coordinate real estate development and construction loan documentation, draw requests, and transaction records
  • Oversee subcontractor compliance, insurance certificates, W-9s, lien waivers, and vendor documentation
  • Manage office operations, employee onboarding paperwork, recordkeeping, and administrative systems
