A well established and growing law firm is seeking a Tax Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its growing transactional tax practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in either renewable energy tax matters or corporate transactional tax work involving private equity mergers & acquisitions and corporate transactions.

This opportunity offers sophisticated deal exposure, meaningful responsibility, and long-term growth within a collaborative and highly respected legal team.

Responsibilities

• Support transactional tax matters across complex business transactions
• Assist with tax structuring and drafting related to corporate and financing transactions
• Conduct tax research and analysis
• Draft and review transaction-related tax provisions and documents
• Collaborate closely with corporate, finance, and project teams
• Work directly with clients and senior attorneys on sophisticated matters

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of transactional tax experience
• Background in renewable energy tax credits and/or corporate M&A/private equity tax matters
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Licensed or eligible for bar admission in resident state
