A luxury hotel in New York City is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead its culinary program.
This is the top culinary leadership role within the kitchen and an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic, hands-on chef who thrives in elevated, fast-paced hospitality environments. The Chef de Cuisine will oversee all back-of-house operations, culinary execution, team leadership, and overall kitchen performance across multiple outlets and banquet operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day kitchen operations across restaurant outlets, banquets, and in-room dining
- Develop, mentor, and manage the culinary team while maintaining elevated execution standards
- Drive menu development and culinary innovation with a strong focus on Asian Fusion cuisine
- Ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, quality, and operational efficiency
- Manage food cost, labor cost, inventory, scheduling, and overall kitchen financial performance
- Maintain all health, sanitation, and safety standards
- Partner closely with front-of-house leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Establish and maintain a strong kitchen culture built around accountability, professionalism, and teamwork
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience
- Prior experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or senior culinary leader in a luxury hotel or upscale high-volume environment
- Strong Asian Fusion culinary background is required
- Proven experience overseeing banquet operations and multi-outlet kitchens
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and financial management skills
- Hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence
- Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred
