Physical Therapist – Outpatient | Private Practice | No Corporate Red Tape

Location: Manchester Township, NJ

Compensation: $85,000–$105,000 + Full Benefits

We are partnering with a growing, family-owned outpatient physical therapy practice that is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join their team in their newly opened Whiting/Manchester location.

This is a true private practice environment- not a corporate PT mill. Here, patient care comes first. Therapists are given the time, autonomy, and support to deliver quality care without the pressure of rushed appointments, unrealistic productivity demands, or corporate red tape.

Their philosophy centers around a true 1:1 therapist-to-patient model, allowing for continuity of care, stronger patient outcomes, and a better overall patient experience. This is hands-on, relationship-driven outpatient therapy where clinicians can focus on being great therapists- not just managing volume.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newer clinician (0–5 years of experience) who wants more than just a standard PT role. They are looking for someone who wants to grow their clinical skills, take ownership in their work, and become a true leader within the practice.

The newly renovated 2,800+ sq. ft. clinic opened in 2024 and features brand-new equipment, with additional services including personal training, massage therapy, and future occupational therapy expansion.

This role offers strong autonomy and the opportunity to be the second clinical leader behind the Director of Physical Therapy, helping drive the success of the clinic while continuing to build advanced hands-on skills.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Create, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Help patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve functionality
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Administer manual therapy and exercise-based treatment programs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Support and oversee physical therapy aides
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinic growth

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Physical Therapy license in good standing
• 0–5 years of experience preferred (new grads encouraged to apply)
• Outpatient experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Desire to continue developing clinical expertise
• Someone who wants to be a driving force within the clinic- not just a technician
