Restaurant Executive Chef/General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of scratch kitchen experience
- Proven ability to lead by example with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Tech savvy and comfortable with modern restaurant systems
Restaurant Executive Chef/General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience mentoring and developing staff into leadership roles
- Passion for community engagement and guest experience
Restaurant Executive Chef/General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build, train, and inspire a team dedicated to culinary excellence and guest happiness
- Oversee daily kitchen and front-of-house operations in accordance with established systems
- Source, purchase, and receive ingredients for a seasonally changing scratch-cooked menu
- Foster strong relationships with team members and the local community
- Continuously mentor and develop team members into future restaurant leaders
- Ensure consistent, high-quality food and service standards
