Restaurant Executive Chef/General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of scratch kitchen experience
Proven ability to lead by example with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams
Effective communication and relationship-building skills
Tech savvy and comfortable with modern restaurant systems

Restaurant Executive Chef/General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Experience mentoring and developing staff into leadership roles

Restaurant Executive Chef/General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Build, train, and inspire a team dedicated to culinary excellence and guest happiness
Oversee daily kitchen and front-of-house operations in accordance with established systems
Source, purchase, and receive ingredients for a seasonally changing scratch-cooked menu
Foster strong relationships with team members and the local community
Continuously mentor and develop team members into future restaurant leaders
Ensure consistent, high-quality food and service standards
