We’re seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in integrated building technologies. This role focuses on the design and coordination of network infrastructure, security systems, audiovisual components, and related smart building solutions for diverse projects. The ideal candidate will have both technical design experience and strong communication skills for client-facing collaboration.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years in the planning and implementation of technology systems including network infrastructure, electronic security, and audiovisual systems within the built environment.
  • Strong grasp of industry codes, standards, and best practices related to intelligent building systems and construction.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with confidence interfacing directly with clients and project teams.
  • Must be eligible for industry-recognized credentials (e.g., RCDD) within 6 months if not currently certified.
  • Skilled in managing multiple assignments simultaneously; willingness to travel as project needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of technical drawings and written specifications for low voltage systems including structured cabling, security, and AV.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to assess needs and create comprehensive documentation and reports.
  • Prepare project cost estimates and assist with budget development for technical systems.
  • Perform site evaluations and fieldwork to validate design requirements and progress.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of technology systems with broader building infrastructure.
