A leading real estate management firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Manager to oversee the operations and financial performance of a diverse property portfolio. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong leadership, financial acumen, and a passion for delivering superior tenant service. The Senior Property Manager will ensure all properties operate efficiently, remain well-maintained, and achieve or exceed ownership objectives for NOI and tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners to ensure operational and financial goals are consistently achieved.
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and control of both operating and capital expenditures.
- Oversee preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, monthly financial reports, and variance analyses.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, rent collection, accruals, expense payments, CAM reconciliations, and lease compliance.
- Ensure full compliance with all lease terms and address both landlord and tenant obligations promptly.
- Respond to tenant requests and coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to deliver timely solutions.
- Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to maintain high service standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections and recommend actions to preserve and enhance asset value.
- Supervise and train property management staff, providing mentorship, goal-setting, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with property safety standards, emergency procedures, and life safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of property management experience, with proven success managing complex commercial or mixed-use portfolios.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and NOI management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage tenant relations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with property management software a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and organization.
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding service to both ownership and tenants.
