Bridge Construction Engineer | Heavy Civil & DOT Projects

Louisville, KY | $140K–$175K + Relocation Assistance

A respected heavy civil contractor is expanding its project team and is seeking a Bridge Construction Engineer to support a strong backlog of DOT bridge and infrastructure work across Kentucky and the Midwest.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, estimating, and project execution, offering long-term stability, strong compensation, and hands-on involvement in meaningful public infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting bridge construction projects from preconstruction through completion
Reviewing plans, quantities, and specifications
Assisting with estimating, budgeting, and project setup
Partnering with field leadership to ensure constructability and cost control
Supporting documentation, billing, and change management

What They’re Looking For

5+ years of experience on bridge or heavy civil construction projects
DOT or public infrastructure exposure
Strong construction knowledge (not consulting/design-only)
Civil Engineering or Construction Management background
Experience with HCSS HeavyBid / HeavyJob is a plus
