Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney – Atlanta, GA

Compensation – $150-175k

Low Billable Hours (1680)

A well-established boutique litigation firm with a respected presence in Atlanta is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its supportive, growth-focused team. Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney Requirements & Qualifications

  • Active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar
  • Minimum 2 years of litigation experience (4–6 years strongly aligned)
  • Strong knowledge of Georgia and federal civil procedure, evidence rules, and litigation deadlines
  • Excellent writing, communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management technology
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and adaptability

Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in commercial, real estate, construction, title, or property-related litigation
  • Experience with PACER, Odyssey eFileGA, PeachCourt, or state/federal e-filing systems
  • Familiarity with iManage and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience managing heavy litigation caseloads and court appearances
  • Strong client service focus and business-minded approach

Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage and litigate commercial, real estate, construction, and other civil matters in state and federal courts
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery documents, and settlement agreements
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic case analysis to clients
  • Directly handle all phases of discovery, including depositions and motion practice
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Organize case files, manage deadlines, and track activity using technology systems
  • Build and sustain strong client and referral relationships
