Our client is a leading provider of customized industrial control panels. They are primed for aggressive expansion into new and existing markets. We are seeking a Field Project Manager/Estimator to lead and coordinate installation, upgrades and repair of industrial equipment. t

Field Project Manager/Estimator Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage mechanical and electrical crews handling mechanical and electrical installations of industrial equipment
  • Project forecasting including manpower, materials and equipment
  • Full project management oversight including changes, risks, quality, safety, ensuring schedules and deadlines are met and stakeholder communications
  • Project financials oversight
  • Onsite customer visits to monitor progress and ensure project stays on track

Field Project Manager/Estimator Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in industrial automation, control systems preferably in food and beverage or packaging equipment
  • Experience managing union and non-union crews in factory settings
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, motor controls and instrumentation
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics and construction drawings
  • Understanding of project life cycle and experience with oversight
  • Proficiency with Excel, Project and ERP systems
  • Project financial acumen
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
