This role is ideal for a seasoned CMM professional who has advanced PC-DMIS offline programming experience in an aerospace or precision manufacturing environment, and who wants to serve as the primary technical resource for a quality team, as well as contribute to continuous improvement of inspection efficiency and measurement accuracy with a stable and expanding company.

CMM Programmer | What You Will Do

  • Develop, validate, and maintain complex PC-DMIS inspection programs for precision aerospace machined components and assemblies.
  • Create CAD-based and offline inspection programs, including datum structures, scanning routines, and touch-probe measurement strategies.
  • Optimize PC-DMIS programs to improve inspection repeatability, cycle time, and measurement accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CMM programming, alignment, reporting, and measurement issues as the team's primary technical resource.
  • Support AS9102 First Article Inspections and ongoing production inspection activities in coordination with Quality and Engineering.
  • Maintain revision control of all inspection programs and associated documentation.
  • Create and maintain inspection fixtures and measurement setups as required.

CMM Programmer | What You Bring

  • Expert-level PC-DMIS capability including offline programming, CAD model import, scanning strategies, report development, and GD&T evaluation.
  • Strong working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T principles and their implementation within CMM inspection programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently create, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize complex inspection programs without close supervision.
  • AS9102 First Article Inspection experience and familiarity with AS9100 quality requirements.
  • CMM Manager and/or QC5000 experience is a plus; CAD software experience for model review preferred.

CMM Programmer | The Perks
