A popular, high-volume coastal restaurant is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead culinary operations in a vibrant waterfront setting. This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee a busy scratch kitchen, develop a strong culinary team, and maintain exceptional standards for food quality, consistency, and execution. The ideal candidate brings strong seafood experience, financial discipline, and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.
Executive Chef Compensation and Benefits

Executive Chef Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years of culinary leadership experience, including Executive Chef
- Strong background in high-volume, full-service restaurants with scratch-kitchen operations
- Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing culinary teams
- Strong understanding of food cost, labor management, inventory, purchasing, and kitchen profitability
Executive Chef Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in waterfront, seafood-focused, coastal, or upscale casual restaurant concepts
- Strong knowledge of fresh seafood, proteins, sauces, and high-quality food preparation
- Track record of maintaining food quality, presentation, and consistency during high-volume service
- Hands-on leadership style with a focus on kitchen organization, accountability, food safety, and team development
