Our client, a well-established food manufacturing operation, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead plant operations with a strong focus on safety, food quality, productivity, and people development.

Requirements & Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production operations with accountability for safety, FSQA, productivity, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with BRC, SQF, FDA/USDA, OSHA, and internal food safety standards
- Manage and develop supervisors through performance reviews, coaching, and engagement initiatives
- Drive improvements in line efficiency, uptime, reliability, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Diagnose and resolve production, equipment, ingredient, and packaging challenges
- Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to address operational issues
- Set production schedules and align labor resources based on priorities and skill levels
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Required Qualifications:
- 8–10 years of food manufacturing experience
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing supervisors
- Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory standards (BRC, SQF, FDA/USDA, OSHA)
- Experience using SAP and standard production reporting tools
- Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or related field
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
