We are seeking an accomplished Event Sales Director to drive private and special event revenue across multiple high-volume hospitality and entertainment venues in Nashville.

This is a hands-on sales leadership role for a proven business developer with strong Nashville relationships, a track record of generating significant event revenue, and the ability to build long-term client partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive event sales revenue across multiple Nashville venues.
  • Prospect, develop, and close new business.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, organizations, hospitality partners, and key referral sources.
  • Own opportunities from initial prospecting through contracting while maintaining strong client communication throughout the sales process.
  • Grow repeat and referral business.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Develop strategies to increase event revenue and expand market reach.
  • Conduct venue tours and develop proposals based on client needs.
  • Partner closely with operations to ensure events sold can be executed successfully.
  • Help develop the sales function and support future team growth.
  • Represent the venues within the Nashville business and events community.

Qualifications

  • Proven success personally generating significant private and special event revenue.
  • Established Nashville network and book of business.
  • Strong outbound sales and new-business development experience.
  • Hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, or venue event-sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, close, and grow accounts.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • Experience developing repeat and referral business.
  • Ability to balance individual sales production with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Collaborative approach to working with operations and venue leadership.
