Location: Lake Mills, WI | $24–$28/hour | 4-Day Workweek

Precision Quality Inspector Benefits and Compensation:

Precision Quality Inspector Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on experience inspecting precision-manufactured components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and dimensional specifications
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with manufacturing and engineering teams
Must Haves:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final dimensional inspections of precision-manufactured components.
- Identify out-of-tolerance parts and prevent nonconforming products from progressing through production.
- Select appropriate measuring equipment and verify calibration status before use.
- Accurately document measurements, inspection results, and accepted or rejected quantities.
- Follow established quality procedures and communicate inspection findings to production personnel.
Precision Quality Inspector Preferred Background & Skills:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Mechanical Inspector, or CMM Operator
- Hands-on CMM operating experience
- Working knowledge of GD&T
- Experience inspecting tight-tolerance CNC-machined components
- Medical device, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100
- Experience documenting nonconforming products and participating in corrective actions
What Success Looks Like:
You'll become a trusted member of the quality team, independently inspecting components, identifying potential defects, maintaining accurate inspection records, and collaborating with production to resolve quality concerns.
We're interested in candidates who have strong inspection fundamentals, take ownership of their work, and are motivated to continue developing their technical skills.
Additional Position Information:
This position does not include relocation assistance. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Lake Mills, WI 53551.
This is a direct-hire position. Third-party staffing, subcontracting, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements will not be considered.
