A well-established industrial engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a Project Engineer to join its team in Vancouver, WA. This role will coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines and help drive capital projects from initial planning through completion.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and keep engineering deliverables on schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex industrial projects while collaborating with engineers, project managers, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor engineering activities throughout the various phases of capital projects
• Develop project engineering schedules, track critical paths and dependencies, and ensure deliverables remain on schedule
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, customers, vendors, and contractors to resolve technical issues and keep projects moving forward
• Review engineering specifications, process designs, drawings, and other technical documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Coordinate the preparation, submission, review, and organization of engineering deliverables and project documentation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited program
• 5–7 years of engineering experience with exposure to multidisciplinary project execution in a heavy industrial environment
• Experience with project scheduling tools and critical path methodologies, such as Microsoft Project
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, with experience in process systems, fluid transfer, equipment design, or similar applications preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues, work collaboratively, and travel periodically to domestic project sites
