We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. This position will oversee a broad range of accounting functions, supporting the organization's financial health through accurate recordkeeping, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and analysis.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively across a variety of financial functions. Hospitality accounting experience is especially valuable, including familiarity with inventory-based accounting and restaurant-specific platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $75,000–$80,000
  • Employer-sponsored medical coverage available after 90 days
  • Retirement plan available after 6 months of service

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or hospitality environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Experience with accounting software such as R365, Toast, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, or Proliant is a plus
  • Hospitality or inventory-based accounting experience is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong data entry and 10-key skills
  • Ability to confidently interpret financial information and exercise sound judgment
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple accounting responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including data entry, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure financial transactions are properly recorded
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and applicable accounting standards
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Support payroll processing using systems such as ADP, Paycom, or Proliant
  • Assist with budgeting, tax preparation, and compliance activities
  • Maintain detailed and organized documentation of financial activities
  • Utilize accounting and financial platforms such as R365, Toast, or similar systems
  • Partner with the finance team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and integrity across accounting processes
